AKRON, Ohio - OhioPen -- Patricia Ann Cargill Charities (PACC) has been selected as a participating nonprofit for the Kaulig Companies Championship's Chip in Fore Charity program presented by Fastenal Company. The organization will also take part in the BK5K Father's Day Walk at Firestone Country Club, where Executive Director Donte Cargill, a U.S. Army veteran, is organizing a team of fellow veterans to walk in support of hunger relief efforts across Northeast Ohio.
Participation in these events will help raise crucial funds for PACC's mission to fight hunger, improve nutrition, and support family stability across Northeast Ohio. Supporters can donate through the Chip in Fore Charity platform, register to walk in the BK5K Father's Day event, or support Donte Cargill's veterans team by making a donation.

Patricia Ann Cargill Charities remains committed to breaking the cycles of hunger in Northeast Ohio. Stories like Derek's journey featured on Nonprofit Story Bank highlight the real impact hunger has on families, and the hope that community action can bring.

About Patricia Ann Cargill Charities
Patricia Ann Cargill Charities (PACC), founded in 2022 by Donte Cargill in memory of his mother, exists to alleviate hunger and improve quality of life in Greater Akron and beyond. Each month, PACC provides essential food and pantry items to more than 1,000 families, while offering community-based resources that promote self-sufficiency.
PACC's programs address the immediate needs of food insecurity while also confronting the long-term impacts of malnutrition on health, education, parenting, employment, and economic development. Services include nutritional education, financial literacy, cooking classes, community gardens and kitchens, and childhood-focused wellness programs.
Through holistic support and access to nutritious food, PACC is creating measurable change across Northeast Ohio.
