New Autobiography, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age," Launches Today With Goal to Empower Women to Embrace And Live A Purposefully Life No Matter The Age
PHILADELPHIA - OhioPen -- Today, Love and Relationshi Expert, Dating Coach, and Author, Cheri Syphax, launches her debut autobiography, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age." The book is a moving account of one woman's transformational journey of breaking past limiting beliefs to live boldly. Through her personal anecdotes, Mrs. Syphax redefines life's second half, proving to Black women everywhere that love and success have no limits. Mrs. Syphax will be appearing today at the Bayou Lounge (5025 Baltimore Avenue * Philadelphia, PA 19143) at 7:30 p.m. for a book signing event.
"Second Act is a love letter to women everywhere that they can hit the refresh button and redesign their life at any point," states Cheri Syphax. "In the book, I share how I overcame the limits I placed on myself, which ultimately helped me to move past abusive and unhealthy relationships, beat breast cancer, start a new career in my mid-40s, and find love."

According to research by the National Institutes of Health titled, "The Growing Racial and Ethnic Divide in U.S. Marriage Patterns," and authored by Professors R. Kelly Raley, Megan M. Sweeney, and Danielle Wondra, "Black women marry later in life, are less likely to marry at all, and have higher rates of marital instability." In the book, "Second Act: Living Boldly and Abundantly at Every Age," Mrs. Syphax works to dispel these statistics and empower Black women to find their true soul mate with the goal to have a long-lasting relationship. Her narrative removes the disparaging notion that you need to have it all figured out by a certain age and serves as a reminder that everyone is on their own journey. The book is also a testament that it is never too late to revitalize your love life, social circle, or career. By following her heart's desire and opening herself up to new possibilities, Mrs. Syphax was primed for true love to walk into her life. Rejecting the notion that the best years for romance and professional success are behind her, Mrs. Syphax illuminates in the book the notion that no matter how many times it takes to design your best life, the greatest part is the journey and lessons gained along the way.
