THE WOODLANDS, Texas, May 7, 2025 ~ Kraton Corporation, a global leader in specialty polymers and biobased products derived from pine chemicals, has announced a strategic realignment of its operations to focus on core capabilities and drive long-term growth. The company will be exiting its manufacturing site in Dover, Ohio and transitioning away from the Dimer and Polyamides business lines.
According to Minco van Breevoort, President of Kraton Pine Chemicals, this decision is part of the company's clear strategy to concentrate on areas where they can have the greatest impact and generate the most value. By streamlining operations, Kraton will be able to direct investments towards core Pine Chemical assets and innovation. It is important to note that this decision will not affect the Crude Tall Oil refinery rates, ensuring a stable supply of Tall Oil Fatty Acid for customers.
