CLAYTON, Ohio and TAIPEI, Aug. 4, 2025 ~ Clayton, Ohio - SINBON Electronics Co., Ltd. (TWSE#:3023), a leading electronics system integrator, has announced the opening of a new 59,000-square-foot facility in Clayton, Ohio. This expansion more than doubles the company's US manufacturing footprint and is backed by an investment of approximately $8.5 million.
The revamped facility is expected to bring up to 200 jobs to the area and will enhance production for key US industries such as smart manufacturing, automotive, and renewable energy. This launch marks a significant milestone for SINBON in terms of innovation for US customers, regional supply chain resilience, and long-term presence in the region.
Joy Wu, Vice President of the Industrial Business Unit at SINBON, stated that as their US partners increasingly look to onshore their supply chains, speed and proximity have become crucial for manufacturing innovation in high-growth areas like robotics. By expanding into the heartland of American industry, SINBON can now assist their customers in innovating faster and solving complex production challenges locally while also strengthening supply chain security.

The new Clayton facility will enable more agile collaboration with key customers by bringing production closer to them. This will be particularly beneficial for customization of products - a hallmark of SINBON's consultative approach to engineering and design.
With a growing demand for 'Made in America' products from its customers, this new facility allows SINBON to fully cater to their needs across key high-growth areas such as robotics and drones for smart manufacturing and logistics, solar energy hardware, and off-road vehicles. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge equipment and capabilities that will serve as a hub for development and production of advanced products and new product introduction (NPI).
The focus at the new space will be on medium-to-low volume, high-mix production which will facilitate the production of larger products with greater space and an improved layout. Key capabilities at the facility include box build products across various electronics and industries, general-to-complex and EV cable assembly optimized for both single-piece flow and batch production, and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) with dedicated areas for electrostatic discharge and climate control - suitable for sensitive products in medical and industrial applications.
