OLATHE, Kan., Aug. 5, 2025 ~ Garmin, a global leader in fitness technology, has announced that several well-known companies will be supporting their upcoming Marathon Series. The series will kick off with its inaugural races in Toledo, Ohio on Sunday, Sept. 21 and will feature products and programming from Brooks, Dexcom, Maurten, Shokz and Therabody.
According to Susan Lyman, Garmin's Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing, these brands are the perfect partners to enhance the overall experience of the Garmin Marathon Series. Each company brings something unique to the events, whether it's engaging with runners at the expo or providing support on the course.
Brooks Running, a market leader in performance running gear since 1914, will be providing each participant with a branded running shirt to commemorate the event. They will also have a presence at the expo with their latest gear and at a designated cheer station along the course.
Dexcom is known for its innovative glucose biosensing technology that empowers people to take control of their health. They will be showcasing their latest products at the expo and finish line festival as well as having a dedicated cheer zone along the course.

Maurten has gained a reputation as the world's leading nutrition brand for endurance athletes since its debut in 2015. Runners participating in the Garmin Marathon Series will have access to Maurten gels at designated aid stations to help them stay fueled and perform their best. Maurten will also have a presence at the expo.
Shokz is a pioneer in open-ear listening technology that helps runners stay motivated and connected without compromising on comfort or sound quality. They will be showcasing their innovative headphones at the expo and powering runners through tough miles with a high-energy cheer station along the course. They will also join in on the celebration at the finish line festival.
Therabody is dedicated to helping athletes train harder, perform better and recover faster through science-backed recovery devices. Race participants will have the opportunity to take advantage of an exclusive offer on Therabody recovery devices and use them throughout race weekend at designated recovery zones at the expo, along the course and at the finish line festival.

The Garmin Marathon Series, wholly owned and produced by Garmin, is a new chapter in road running events. It will launch in fall 2025 with events in Toledo, Ohio and Tucson, Arizona. The series offers four race distances: a Boston Marathon qualifier full marathon, USATF-certified half marathon, 10K and 5K. Registration for all race distances in Toledo and Tucson is currently open.
