May 2025 – Count Jonathan of Aquitaine, an academic researcher and humanitarian, has released a groundbreaking article calling for a global reevaluation of university accreditation systems and the legitimacy of informal education.
The paper, titled "Reevaluating Accreditation and the Role of Informal Universities in Global Higher Education," has been published in the International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (Volume 10, Issue 5).
A noble representative of the Republic of Aquitaine, Count Jonathan has long championed causes at the intersection of education, dignity, and access. His work highlights how informal universities — often dismissed by traditional institutions — have served as critical lifelines for underserved learners across the world.
