New Feature Film in Columbus, OH "AMERICAN NIGHTMARE" Launches Crowdfunding Campaign

COLUMBUS, Ohio - OhioPen -- "Four Tumbleweeds Filmmaking is excited to announce the launch of a crowdfunding campaign for its debut feature film, "AMERICAN NIGHTMARE." Written and directed by Ohio native Logan Alexander Fondriest, this gripping drama delves into themes of isolation, ambition, all in the hollowed out ruins of the American dream.

AMERICAN NIGHTMARE tells the story of a famous fictional author named Nicky Blythe. As he tries to find a way to cope with his newly found fame, it leads him to the town of Weston - where he finds inspiration for his next story in the voice of a singer. As he navigates the sublime and haunting landscape, Nicky encounters a series of peculiar characters - including a rogue outlaw who makes it his mission to run Nicky out of town. The film explores the depths of the human psyche and the sinister undercurrents of seemingly ordinary lives.

"I wanted to take that feeling, combined with the feeling of hopelessness - the stubbornness that's required of wanting more and put it into a film. Inspired by the cinema of the 70's, we aim to create an intense, immersive experience that will compel audiences and contribute to the art of cinema. With the support of our community, we can bring this haunting tale to life and showcase the incredible talent we have right here in Ohio."

The production has started a crowdfund campaign to raise funds for the development of the film.
