Myers Industries Announces Meghan Beringer as Senior Director of Investor Relations

AKRON, Ohio ~ Myers Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of polymer products and distributor for the tire, wheel, and under-vehicle service industry, has announced the appointment of Meghan Beringer as Senior Director of Investor Relations. She will report to Grant Fitz, Chief Financial Officer.

Fitz commented on the appointment: "We are pleased to have Meghan join the Myers team. She has a strong network, is focused on servant leadership and will continue to drive transparency in our communications with the investment community."

Beringer brings twenty years of leadership experience across multiple disciplines including the utility and banking industries. Prior to her role at Myers, she spent sixteen years at FirstEnergy in various roles such as director of Emerging Technologies Strategy and director of Investor Relations.

Beringer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from University of Dayton with a minor in marketing and international business as well as a juris doctorate from Northern Kentucky University's Chase College of law. She will be based out of Myers' corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
