"MBMA's 2024 annual report shows the resiliency of metal building systems and our industry," says incoming MBMA Chair Christen Funk, "and we're looking forward to a great 2025. We've put in place a host of initiatives and programs that continue to boost the industry, including the student design competition and a growing outreach to the architecture community, as well as awards programs that recognize important contributors."
The 2024 MBMA annual report includes:
"It's been another good year for the association," adds Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager. "We continue to grow our student design competition with more entries, schools and prizes. We published the Roof Framing Design Guide as well as two FAQ documents for COMCheckTM and BIM, presented our second Ellifritt Award, added new videos to the Travels with Tony series and released four more folios in the Architectural Significance in Metal Buildings series. We also had a booth at the AIA Annual Conference in Washington and at METALCON in Atlanta where we interacted with many design professionals.
