Empowering Her Small Business Expo Sunday, Sept. 24 10am-2:30pm at the 21c Hotel to celebrate American Business Women's Day and benefit Making Strides for Breast Cancer
CINCINNATI - OhioPen -- In celebration of American Business Women's Day, the Empowering Her Small Business Expo is happening this Sunday, Sept. 24 10am-2:30pm at the 21c Hotel downtown.
This free, fun and informative small business expo will feature free professional headshots and mini makeovers, plus connecting with local resources, shopping, fashion shows, brunch 'n' learns, and free swag bags to the first 200 attendees. It's also a fun event for families, as there will be a kid's play zone and complimentary babysitting service to keep the kids entertained while parents enjoy the event.
"Whether you have a small business, have always dreamed of starting one, or just love supporting local small businesses, this event is for you," says life coach and event co-host Melissa Kirkpatrick. "We wanted to make it as approachable as possible to inspire and connect as many people as possible, so we made it free to get in, free childcare, free valet and swag bags. It's going to be such a great event!"

It's all for a good cause, too. "The expo portion of the event is absolutely free, but for those who would like and are able to donate, we've partnered with Making Strides as our charity for this event," says event co-host and Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer Emily McNamara. "On the registration page, you can make a donation or Making Strides will be there so you can learn how to get involved with their mission of finding a cure and empowering others in our community."
Kirkpatrick and McNamara say this event will be the ultimate Self-Care Sunday and Sunday Fun Day. "Come solo, with friends or bring the family," Kirkpatrick says. "We'll have something for everyone, and it's all for a great cause."
The 21c Hotel is located at 609 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Event tickets and more information is available at http://ehsbe.eventbrite.com.
