CLEVELAND - OhioPen -- CONFAST's 24 Piece Toggle Bolt and Wing Nut Assortment Kit is now available to purchase online. This kit comes with 3 sizes of toggle bolts - 1/8" x 2", 3/16" x 3", and 1/4" x 3" - as well as corresponding wing nuts.
The CONFAST toggle bolt is efficient and easy to use because it features a spring wing nut, which can be folded into the drilled hole and automatically springs open to provide support. Simply drill a hole (big enough to accommodate the collapsed spring-loaded wings), push the toggle bolt with wings folded through the hole, and allow the wings to expand.
CONFAST's toggle bolt can be used for mounting light to medium items to concrete, plaster, wallboard, gypsum board and hollow walls. Uses include small paintings and pictures, mirrors, shelves, curtain rods, towel racks and lights.
Installation - First, drill a hole big enough to accommodate the collapsed, spring-loaded wings; please note that you should leave enough room for wings to release. Put the bolt through the object that is being mounted, with the wing attached to the opposite end. Push the folded wing through the hole. The wings should expand, pull the assembly back towards you so it can clamp onto the inside wall. Tighten the bolt firmly to secure the object to the wall.
