CLEVELAND, Sept. 4, 2024 ~ Rescue Village's annual fundraising event, Woofstock, is set to take place on September 8 at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This highly anticipated event invites dog lovers and their furry companions to a day filled with live music, dog games, food trucks, and more. But beyond the fun and festivities, Woofstock serves a greater purpose - raising funds for Rescue Village's mission to save homeless, abused, and neglected animals.
Thanks to the generosity of its sponsors, Woofstock has already raised over $100,000 for this year's event. Among the top contributors is Solon Manufacturing, located in Chardon, Ohio. As the 2024 Woofstock Presenting Sponsor, Solon Manufacturing has made a significant impact on Rescue Village's efforts.
Solon Manufacturing is a renowned designer and manufacturer of Belleville springs and washers used in various industries such as agriculture, aviation/aerospace, and medical. "We are proud to support Rescue Village's mission and make a positive impact in our community," said Kenneth Clarke, CEO of Rescue Village.
Joining Solon Manufacturing as Top Dog sponsors are Archaeological Networks Inc., Embrace Pet Insurance, and SwiftPaws. These companies have also shown their commitment to supporting worthy causes and promoting pet health and wellness.

Woofstock's Best in Show sponsors include the Augustus Family Foundation, CG Accounting, Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve, Young Team Greater Metropolitan, and the Wenk Family Charitable Foundation. Other notable sponsors include Onyx Creative as the Rescue Row Sponsor, Parker-Hannifin Co. as the Dog Games Sponsor, and Four Paws Brewing Company as the Beer Garden Sponsor.
In addition to these generous sponsors are Paw Pal sponsors such as AquaDoc, Chagrin Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles #2436, Lowes Greenhouse, and University Hospitals Pet Pals. These sponsors, along with in-kind sponsors like Chagrin Pet and Garden and FOX8 Cleveland, have all played a crucial role in making Woofstock a success.
But the support doesn't stop there. Woofstock also invites animal lovers to show their support by purchasing the limited edition tie-dyed Woofstock T-shirt designed by syndicated cartoonist Jenny Campbell or other admission items. Those interested can register in advance at www.woofstock.fun or at the event itself on September 8.
Lisa Ishee, Rescue Village's Director of Development, encourages everyone to come out and support this important cause. "Woofstock is not just a fun day for dogs and their owners, but it also helps us continue our lifesaving work for animals in need," she said.
With the help of its dedicated sponsors and supporters, Rescue Village hopes to make this year's Woofstock the most successful one yet. So mark your calendars for September 8 and join in on the fun while making a difference in the lives of animals.
