PSNeverGiveUp Store Launches Black Friday, Announces Charity

COLUMBUS, Ohio - OhioPen -- PSNeverGiveUp -- a multimedia movement to entertain, inform, and inspire others by sharing uplifting "Never Give Up" moments -- announces the launch of its online shop today on Black Friday.

The shop features a variety of products, all sourced from locally-owned small businesses, ranging from apparel and jewelry, home comforts and decor, to hand-crafted bath and body products.

The PSNeverGiveUp Store will also support an important cause: the PSNeverGiveUp Foundation. Launching in 2021, the PSNeverGiveUp Foundation will provide resources and grants for couples experiencing fertility issues due to chronic illness.

"We're proud to announce that 5% of our PSNeverGiveUp Store profits will go toward establishing and supporting the PSNeverGiveUp Foundation," says founder Pete Scalia. "It turns our difficult road to becoming a family into a smoother path for others like us in the future."

After working as a morning news anchor and local TV personality for more than 15 years, Pete Scalia is putting his heart and soul into launching PSNeverGiveUp — a multi-platform movement that includes the Pete Scalia Never Give Up Podcast, social media, music, video, public speaking and more — to entertain, inform, and inspire others by sharing uplifting "Never Give Up" moments.

Pete was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis at age 30. After four major joint replacements, he and his wife subsequently endured years of fertility issues. The media professional, now a father of three, has now made it his life's mission to educate and inspire others to never give up.

Pete stepped away from broadcasting for a few years to tour as a professional musician – opening for classic rockers Ted Nugent and Bad Company, and playing keyboards for nationally touring funk artist Freekbass – produced by legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist Bootsy Collins. Music is still a big part of Pete's life – Working through the challenges and deformities brought on by his RA, Pete still writes, plays and sings music – including the annual Arthritis Foundation Bone Bash with his dad and their band Snidely Whiplash.
