BEAVERCREEK, Ohio, Nov. 5, 2024 ~ During the 19th Annual myCUmortgage Partner Conference, held from October 15-17 in Dayton, Ohio, 17 winners were recognized for their outstanding achievements in credit union mortgage lending. The conference, hosted by myCUmortgage, a leading Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) wholly owned by Wright-Patt Credit Union, celebrated the best of the best in the industry.
The three-day event was filled with educational sessions, professional development opportunities and networking events, all aimed at helping attendees "Trailblaze the Mortgage Frontier." The highlight of the conference was the Annual Awards Luncheon on October 16, where this year's winning partner credit unions and loan originators were showcased and celebrated.
The recipients were selected based on their performance from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. Factors such as closed loan volume and unique and innovative stories behind each winner's successful year were taken into consideration during the selection process.
Paul Sutor, President of myCUmortgage, praised this year's winners for their exceptional performance despite the challenges faced by the mortgage and real estate markets. He stated that these credit unions and loan originators have proven to be true mortgage trailblazers and set a high standard for success in the coming year.

Among the winners were Desco Federal Credit Union from Portsmouth, Ohio for Most Loans Originated in the Large Credit Union category; Midwest Community Federal Credit Union from Defiance, Ohio for Most Loans Originated in Mid-Sized Credit Unions; and TopMark Federal Credit Union from Cridersville, Ohio for Most Loans Originated in Small Credit Unions.
Midwest Community Federal Credit Union also took home the Purchase Money Lender of the Year award while Ana Petre from TopMark Federal Credit Union was named Originator of the Year. Desco Federal Credit Union was recognized as Lender of the Year while Dynamic Federal Credit Union from Celina, Ohio was awarded Marketer of the Year.
Natco Credit Union from Richmond, Indiana was named CU Select Partner of the Year and HealthShare Credit Union from Greensboro, North Carolina was recognized as New Partner of the Year. BCU from Vernon Hills, Illinois received the Government Partner of the Year award.
In addition to these awards, several individual loan originators were also recognized for their outstanding performance in helping members achieve homeownership. Jennifer Bacon, Angela Scheidweiler, Ashton Petrie, Mike Davis from Wright-Patt Credit Union and Jennifer Kettlewell from CU Select/myCUmortgage were all honored for assisting over 100 members each.

The State Highway Patrol Federal Credit Union in Columbus, Ohio was awarded the Susan Edwards Scholarship. This scholarship is given annually to a smaller credit union that demonstrates excellence in assisting members with homeownership. It covers the cost of attendance to the myCUmortgage Partner Conference and is named after Susan Edwards, a former employee of myCUmortgage who was a strong advocate for small credit unions.
The Tim Mislansky Belief Award was presented to Terri Brancucci of Trax Federal Credit Union in Lakeland, Florida. This award is named after Tim Mislansky, former President of myCUmortgage and current President and CEO of Wright-Patt Credit Union. It recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional belief in their work and dedication to their credit union.
The 2024 Partner Conference saw participation from 72 individuals representing 29 credit unions across the United States. The conference provided attendees with valuable insights into the latest news, trends and techniques in the mortgage industry. It also offered them an opportunity to network with industry leaders and exchange information with fellow credit union mortgage representatives. The theme for this year's conference was "Mortgages Wanted: Trailblazing the Mortgage Frontier."
