Kim Georgeton is confirmed as a candidate for Ohio State House Representative in District 28 Republican primary to be held on August 2, 2022.
CINCINNATI - OhioPen -- Kim Georgeton declared her run for State Representative and filed verified petition signatures within the filing deadline at the Hamilton County Board of Elections in January.
Since then, multiple district maps have been struck down by the Ohio Supreme Court, which left all candidates wondering about their district.
On May 27, a Federal Court intervened and ordered the election to move forward under Map 3, which was approved on February 24, 2022.
"I'm relieved we finally have a focus, not just for me as a candidate, but especially the voters. They are what really matter in this entire situation. With election concerns being high on the list for Ohioans, this situation makes everyone feel uneasy," said Kim Georgeton. "Voters have shared with me they are unsure when to vote, who will be on their ballot and in which District they reside."

Kim Georgeton is a native Cincinnatian, a newcomer to the political scene, but has over 25 years of business experience. She's a mother, wife, family restaurant-owner and respected leader who will fight for our Constitutional rights.
"I'm passionate about ensuring our laws in the State of Ohio adhere to the basic principles outlined in the framework of our founding documents. This blueprint has made America a great nation and we need to revisit those sentiments often as we proceed to protect and maintain Ohio's laws," Kim shared. "I've invested my own money in my campaign because I feel so strongly about this."
One of Kim's priorities once elected is to limit the Federal overreach and bring the balance of power back to the local people and governments and away from Federal control. This will take some good legislation.
"I stand firmly for protecting the sanctity of life, traditional family values, teaching truth to our children, protecting freedom of speech, protecting individual privacy, lowering taxes, spurring on small businesses, following the rule of law and honoring the true intent of our Second Amendment," declared Kim Georgeton. "Please vote for me on August 2, 2022."
