Keeping Skills Alive: Cincinnati Family Electricians Pass the Torch to the Next Generation

CINCINNATI - OhioPen -- CINCINNATI, OH — In a city where skilled trades are increasingly hard to find, one family is taking mentorship to the next level. Lipps Electric, a local, multi-generational electrical business, is keeping the next generation of electricians engaged, trained, and inspired — all while serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for decades.

At the heart of the training operation is Ron Lipps Sr., who personally mentors apprentices, including his own children. To provide hands-on learning in a safe environment, he built an in-office training facility, allowing new electricians to practice real-world skills before stepping onto live job sites.
