COLUMBUS, Ohio - OhioPen -- Joe Knows Energy, a leader in oil and gas and utilities safety infrastructure inspection staffing and recruiting, has announced their diversity, equity, and inclusion program with new initiatives at all stages of staffing for 2023.

The firm has developed new initiatives for the year focused on expanding their recruiting audiences, generating awareness about career opportunities, and supporting team members with skill development, engagement, mentorship, and resources.

For nearly a decade, Joe Knows Energy has worked extensively to create and perfect the company's proprietary High-Performance Program. The program's primary feature is a "4-dimensional" screening and selection tool designed to match candidates to roles and companies based on how they think and behave, technical skills, and other factors. This program, according to the company, has been proven to provide a neurodiverse group of candidates while ensuring a blind hiring process that encourages diversity.

In 2023, the company will be launching additional initiatives to further support diversity and inclusion at various stages of the recruiting, hiring and retention process including:
    • Leadership training on diversity, equity, and inclusion;
    • Feedback and engagement surveys among the entire database to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and resources most needed by team members;
    • Training and mentorship programs to help upskill candidates and help them further develop their careers;
    • Internal culture initiatives to promote their values and encourage development, growth, integrity, and inclusion amongst employees and candidates; and
    • Awareness and recruiting strategies developing relationships and generating career awareness to expand their recruiting pool and encourage more diversity in the industry.
