Actors Mark Taylor, Erica Hubbard and Omar Gooding star in new HobbStyle Casting/Skip Thomas Productions thriller, The Deadly Type, set to premier in theaters.
CLEVELAND - OhioPen -- The dynamic HobbsStyle Casting & Productions and Skip Thomas Productions team up on their 6th feature film, The Deadly Type, to premier in theaters.
'When Erin moves to a small town to pursue her career goals, she becomes involved with the local doctor and finds herself the target of a dangerous obsession.'
The film was written and directed by award winning Director Mike Berry of Skip Thomas Productions. The film stars Mark Taylor best known for his role in Seventeen Again and Cinderella Man as well as TV Series Student Bodies and The Coroner; Erica Hubbard best known for her role in TV series Lincoln Heights, Let's Stay Together and most recently The Family Business New Orleans and Omar Gooding best known for his role in Baby Boy, Smart Guy, Hanging With Mr. Cooper and Barbershop.

'The film also includes an impressive list of local actors including Carl Walton, Sarah Alaina, Fred Munkachy and Mike Karban' states Tina Hobbs who is the film's Executive Producer and Casting Director. 'Our goal is always to be bigger and better and we certainly accomplished that on this production'.

Tina Hobbs is owner of HobbsStyle Casting & Production which houses all of her production services. Since 2011, her company has cast and produced numerous projects including feature films, short films, television shows, music videos and theater productions. Hobbs hosts the annual "Schmooze" which is a widely attended networking event designed to connect industry professionals. She also teaches Media and Filmmaking classes at Cuyahoga Community College for aspiring filmmakers. Hobbs' experience in the movie industry makes her a valuable resource as well as a filmmaker dedicated to developing quality global entertainment.

ABOUT MIKE BERRY
Mike Berry is a writer, filmmaker and motivational speaker. He began his career as a rapper under the stage name Big Gank recording a Top 100 Billboard Album and a Top 20 Billboard single, being one of the first unsigned artists to tour with MTV's Rock-the-Vote campaign. In 2011, he began producing and directing award-winning screenplays including A State of Mind, Banger, Hey, Mr. Postman and Grace & Mercy. Recently he re-launched his highly acclaimed novel The Dangerous Times through Oasis Publishing. In addition to filmmaking, Berry is a motivational speaker and founder of the non-profit organization, Release The Pressure, which brings awareness and support to individuals suffering from depression.
