Upcoming virtual college planning event shows parents how to plan and pay for college in the age of COVID-19.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - OhioPen -- As we move into a new, more "virtual" world thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, Keystone College Planning has taken steps to keep customers safe, while still providing the valuable information parents need to prepare for future college costs.
On Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 6:30pm a virtual college planning event will be held via webinar and is open to the public.
This no-cost event will provide helpful information to parents of high school students on planning and paying for college in an efficient and tax-advantaged manner. Parents who attend will learn how to avoid the 4 biggest mistakes families make when planning for college, strategies for lowering "out-of-pocket" costs and maximizing financial aid eligibility, and how to develop a customized plan to pay for the "gap" between the cost of the school and the amount of financial aid received. Changes to the college admissions process due to COVID-19 will also be discussed.
