Miller's session, "Reignite Your Financial Confidence: What to Know During & After Divorce," offered guidance and encouragement for women navigating the financial side of divorce.
DAYTON, Ohio - OhioPen -- Alyssa Feldmeyer Miller, CFP®, CLTC®, Private Wealth Advisor at Feldmeyer Financial Group, was a featured speaker at Wright-Patt Credit Union's (WPCU®) "Women: At the Table Talks," a free community event. About 250 women from across the Dayton area attended.
WPCU designed the event to empower women, women+, and allies through conversations on achieving balance, building support networks, bridging the gap to financial independence, and becoming effective advocates. The interactive program also addressed the challenges many women face in setting healthy boundaries, balancing life and budget, and navigating professional and personal spheres.
Miller joined a lineup of featured speakers that included Renée Sattiewhite, President and CEO of the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC); Ivy Glover, Director, Community & Social Impact at Wright-Patt Credit Union; and Adriane Miller, Executive Director of NCCJ: Nurturing Community, Cultivating Justice.

"Divorce can change nearly every part of your financial life at once, and it's easy to feel like you've lost your footing," said Miller. "My goal was to remind every woman in that room that she can understand her finances on her own terms and take the next step with confidence. I'm grateful to Wright-Patt Credit Union for creating a space where so many women could have these conversations together."
