A national leader in comprehensive, no-cost supportive cancer care celebrates a milestone -
and sets its sights on reaching more individuals and families
and sets its sights on reaching more individuals and families
BEDMINSTER, N.J. - OhioPen -- For 25 years, Crossroads4Hope has been a lifeline for people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones, delivering essential support in the space between medical appointments and everyday life.
This fall, the organization will celebrate a quarter-century of service at its Inspiring Hope Gala on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at The Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, New Jersey.
While roughly 90 percent of people diagnosed with cancer experience symptoms that disrupt daily life and would benefit from supportive care, fewer than 10 percent report having access to it. For caregivers and loved ones, the gap is even wider.
"At Crossroads4Hope, we envision a world where, beyond medicine, everyone affected by cancer has access to the supportive care they deserve—because supportive care is care," said Amy Sutton, Chief Executive Officer of Crossroads4Hope. "Access is essential to helping people live through and beyond cancer with dignity, strength and hope."
The event will be co-chaired by Daniel Loughlin, Vice Chairman of JLL, and Jonathan Hirschfeld, New Jersey Managing Partner, PwC. Crossroads4Hope will present the 2026 Nancy and Marty Dowd Spirit of Hope Award to:
Steven J. Pozycki
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SJP Properties
in recognition of his leadership, philanthropy and commitment to strengthening communities.
This year is a milestone celebration for the organization which is aiming to raise $500,000—donations that help people today, not someday. Already committed to supporting the event are Crossroads4Hope's Annual Sponsors, BeOne Medicines, Genmab, Peapack Private, and Regeneron, as well as early event sponsors PwC, Daiichi Sankyo, Atlantic Health, and Bristol Myers Squibb. The gala is expected to welcome more than 300 guests, including leaders from healthcare, finance, construction, property development and other industries, alongside community partners, supporters and Crossroads4Hope members. The evening will honor the organization's history while raising critical funds to sustain its services and expand access to supportive cancer care in New Jersey and communities across the country.

"Cancer affects every part of a person's life—not only their medical care," Sutton said. "The funds raised through Inspiring Hope will allow us to be there when someone needs counseling, when a parent needs help talking to a child, when a caregiver feels overwhelmed, or when a family doesn't know where to turn. Our 25th anniversary is both a celebration of what has been achieved and a commitment to what comes next."
Crossroads4Hope's members describe the organization as "more than any single program it delivers". As its members put it, it's not a helpline, it's a lifeline, supporting them through one of life's hardest challenges: a cancer diagnosis. The organization never charges individuals and never requires insurance, removing any barriers to accessing support that is fundamental to every cancer journey. People can connect to the organization through self-referral, or a healthcare provider, employer, community organization, supporter or member, including the more than 1,000 Health Champions the organization has activated.
Once that connection is made, the burden of finding resources shifts from the individual to the organization, which proactively addresses the emotional, social, financial and practical challenges of cancer at any age or stage. Support includes counseling, support groups, children and family services, nutrition and education workshops, navigation and referrals, financial assistance, survivorship and bereavement support, and MyGo2Support, its 24/7 direct-to-mobile program that keeps people connected to help when and where they need it most. If cancer is a worry in your life, Crossroads4Hope will help ensure you are not alone.
Founded in 2001 by four women who set out to create a safe place for people with cancer and their families to find professionally led emotional support at no charge, Crossroads4Hope has grown to meet the increasingly complex needs of those affected by the disease. Today it receives referrals from 47 states and 7 countries and is the only nonprofit in the nation delivering this breadth and depth of supportive cancer care to people diagnosed at any age, and to the people who love them.
In honor of its 25th anniversary, the organization will also induct four individuals into its Founders Circle, recognizing the visionaries whose early leadership created the foundation for its continued growth:
