Connect Fibre Partners With Linksys and Axiros to Make Other WiFi Services Feel Like Dial-Up. Customers To Receive the Latest WiFi 6 Technology and Access to the UK's Best WiFi Guarantee.
LONDON - OhioPen -- Many broadband users are unable to unlock the full potential of their internet service, due to outdated Wi-Fi technology that is incapable of matching the needs of busy households with multiple Wi-Fi devices. For full fibre broadband users with speeds up to 1000 Mbps available, accessing the full bandwidth of their internet connection over Wi-Fi becomes an even greater challenge.
To ensure that all of its customers can harness the full speed of their gigabit broadband packages throughout their homes, Connect Fibre, a local, community minded, full fibre network provider announces today that it has partnered with Linksys, known for their Wi-Fi and networking solutions, and Axiros a leading provider of TR-069 remote device management solutions, to deliver the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology to all customers.
Connect Fibre customers will receive Linksys powered Wi-Fi 6 routers, including the Connect Wi-Fi 6 Pro. Based upon the Linksys Velop AX4200, it incorporates Wi-Fi 6, the next evolution of Wi-Fi technology providing four times faster speed, 50% more coverage, and four times more capacity than previous standards. Customers will also benefit from reduced signal interference, and greater efficiency will improve mobile and tablet battery life through letting devices stay in sleep mode for longer.

In addition, customers who require even greater range can add Connect Mesh to their packages. Connect Mesh's uses Linksys' intelligent Tri-Band mesh Wi-Fi expertise to deliver ultrafast, super-responsive, seamless broadband to every corner of homes and businesses. The service is underpinned by the UK's best home Wi-Fi guarantee, with a minimum of 30 Mbps in every room, or customers can cancel the service for free.
All Connect Wi-Fi services will include the complete suite of Axiros' class leading TR-069 remote device management solutions. Key components include AXWIFI Quality of Experience (QoE) tools, which will empower Connect Fibre to monitor the performance of each customer's Wi-Fi 6 router to automatically solve performance issues – most times before customers even notice. For any other Wi-Fi issues, AXWIFI's powerful optimisation and management capabilities delivers unparalleled insight into the performance of individual connected Wi-Fi devices, to assist with agent troubleshooting should any Wi-Fi issues occur.
Commenting on the partnership, Deryck Shepherd, Connect Fibre Chief Customer Officer, said: "A lack of focus by other internet providers on the importance of Wi-Fi has meant that even for customers with good broadband connections, their internet still feels "slow" and they are frustrated when their ISP can't solve issues. We understand that great Wi-Fi must complement gigabit broadband – that's why all our customers benefit from a professional Wi-Fi installation to ensure their routers are in the best possible location, and now our partnership with Linksys and Axiros will provide the best Wi-Fi 6 routers and support available. Our Wi-Fi 6 service will make other Wi-Fi feel like dial-up."

Albert Farag, Managing Director, Europe of Linksys, said: "We're extremely excited to be partnering with Connect Fibre to bring high quality WiFi solutions with innovative software integration from Axiros. As a result of these components working together, customers will now be able to get more out of their internet service."
Mark Torrans, Sales Director EMEA at Axiros, also noted: "Wi-Fi has always been the talking point within network delivery to end customers, so it is with great pleasure that Axiros can provide their carrier grade AXWIFI software to complement Linksys' routers, whilst also providing the Connect Fibre team with our standards based technology to enhance the QoE experience for their support teams and ultimately their end customers experience. Thank you very much for letting us be part of this exciting delivery to Connect Fibre."
