COLUMBUS, Ohio - OhioPen -- Hyper Tech Research Inc., a leader in advanced power generation technology, today introduced its proprietary high-efficiency generators/alternators engineered specifically for AI data centers. Direct drive compatible with any rotating prime mover (natural gas, hydrogen, steam, nuclear) at any rotational speed, these alternators can handle large RPM fluctuation. These units provide direct generation of AC or DC power at the low-voltage levels required by GPU and CPU racks—bypassing traditional grid and transformer dependencies.
As AI-driven demand surges, data centers face unprecedented power bottlenecks. There are grid interconnection delays that now stretch 4–8 years in many regions. Capacity prices are at record highs, and utility rates continue to climb. Hyper Tech's behind-the-meter approach delivers energy independence, dramatically faster deployment, and substantial reductions in both capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) expenses.
Hyper Tech's scalable 10–50 MW generators/alternators allow data centers to expand from 50 MW to gigawatt-scale campuses without relying on the overburdened utility grids. By eliminating the need for high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) transformers, switchgear, breakers, and associated infrastructure equipment, the design simplifies systems, reduces failure points, boosts efficiency, and cuts complexity.

Key Advantages:
"AI is reshaping industries worldwide, yet power constraints are throttling progress and innovation," said Mike Tomsic, President of Hyper Tech Research Inc. "Our breakthrough generator/alternator technology empowers data center operators with true energy autonomy, significant cost reductions, and the deployment speed essential to lead in the AI era. We are prepared to scale rapidly and deliver initial units starting in 2028."
Hyper Tech is poised for rapid growth, targeting more than $1 billion in revenue by 2031. The company is actively inviting equity investors, strategic partners, hyperscalers, and data center developers to explore priority purchase agreements, customized solutions, and co-development opportunities to accelerate adoption.
