WARREN, N.J., Aug. 22, 2025 ~ Columbus, Ohio will be buzzing with excitement next week as the highly anticipated matchup between Ohio State and Texas draws near. The Heisman Trophy, along with its official time piece, AXIA TIME, will be making a special appearance in the city to celebrate the Buckeyes' remarkable 2024 championship.

According to AXIA TIME founder John Kanaras, "Columbus will be the center of the college football universe next weekend. We're excited to be there to help connect fans with this iconic trophy and celebrate the Buckeyes' remarkable 2024 championship."

Fans are invited to join in on the festivities at the Ohio State team store on North High Street on Friday, August 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. They will have the opportunity to take photos with the famous bronze statue of the Heisman Trophy and browse through AXIA TIME's exquisite watches commemorating Ohio State's playoff victory in 2024.

But that's not all - fans will also have a chance to meet and greet playoff MVP Will Howard, who led the Buckeyes to a thrilling title-game victory over Notre Dame. Howard will be at the team store from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., adding even more excitement for fans.

On Saturday morning, August 30, the Heisman Trophy will join AXIA TIME at the Ohio State Fan Fest located outside of the Ice Rink and St. John's Arena in Remembrance Park. The trophy will be stationed inside AXIA TIME's kiosk starting at 9 a.m., giving fans another opportunity to take photos with this historic statue won by seven Buckeyes.

During halftime of Saturday's big game, another legendary Buckeye will be honored by the Heisman Trophy Trust - Archie Griffin. This year marks the 50th anniversary of his historic second Heisman triumph.
