~ The City of Akron is mourning the passing of former Mayor Tom Sawyer. Mayor Dan Horrigan expressed his sadness at the news, praising Sawyer for his selfless dedication to public service. He served in the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate, the United States Congress, and as Mayor of Akron.
