Tom Quigley of ClaimLinx Sounds Alarm on ACA Subsidy Cuts During Explosive Neil Haley Show Interview
MENTOR, Ohio - OhioPen -- ClaimLinx National Benefits Consultant Tom Quigley warns that millions of Americans could face skyrocketing health insurance premiums if Congress fails to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies before 2026, as discussed in a new episode of The Neil Haley Show, simulcast by the Cutting Edge Benefits Podcast.
Mentor, OH – October 29, 2025 (Wednesday) – Media Giant Productions and ClaimLinx announce a new episode of The Neil Haley Show featuring Tom Quigley, National Benefits Consultant for ClaimLinx. The interview—simulcast by the Cutting Edge Benefits Podcast—takes direct aim at Congress's failure to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies, warning that millions could soon face unaffordable healthcare costs.
With budget gridlock and a potential government shutdown looming, Quigley outlines the real consequences of political inaction. He explains how enhanced ACA subsidies, introduced during the COVID era, reduced premiums for working families and small businesses. Allowing them to expire in 2026, he says, would have devastating financial consequences for the middle class.

"If nothing is done, families could see premiums jump from $300 to $3,000 a month almost overnight," Quigley said. "These clowns don't understand anything about health insurance—if they did, they'd be promoting subsidies, not fighting them."
In this episode, Quigley details how cutting subsidies could increase healthcare costs by as much as 600%, forcing millions into financial distress or leaving them uninsured. He adds that eliminating subsidies would reduce federal tax revenue and disrupt the balance of the healthcare system.
"You're running with thieves—the insurance companies, hospitals, agents, and even some departments of insurance," Quigley said. "You don't have to be a thief, but you better think like one. That's how I protect my clients."
Quigley warns that middle-income Americans—those who earn too much for Medicaid but can't afford $24,000 a year in premiums—will be hardest hit. "When rates go from $300 to $3,000, people will be screaming," he said. "And guess who votes? The middle class."
