COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 11, 2024 ~ Huntington National Bank has recently announced the launch of their new program, Huntington Honors℠, which aims to celebrate the exceptional contributions of active and retired servicemembers, first responders, nurses, and educators. This program offers eligible customers a Huntington Perks Checking account with no monthly maintenance fees, regardless of their account balance.
Brant Standridge, the Consumer & Regional Banking President at Huntington, expressed the bank's commitment to supporting those who dedicate their lives to the growth, health, and safety of our communities. "Looking out for people means a great deal to us at Huntington," he stated. "We believe their commitment is worth rewarding, and we're proud to look out for their financial wellness in the same way they look out for us."
In addition to no monthly maintenance fees, eligible customers can also enjoy relationship rates on savings and money market accounts, five free non-Huntington ATM withdrawals per statement cycle, credit score monitoring, earned interest on checking deposits, and a Huntington Honors-themed debit card.

Moreover, participants in this program will have access to various digital features as Huntington checking customers. These include Early Pay, $50 Safety Zone, 24-Hour Grace, Standby Cash, and Money Scout.
Standridge emphasized that Huntington Honors is a way for the bank to express gratitude towards those who go above and beyond in looking out for our communities every day. He added that in addition to providing financial benefits through Perks Checking account and innovative tools and features for long-term financial health.

This new program is just one of the ways that Huntington recognizes the tireless work of educators. Earlier this year, the bank launched its Ignite the Classroom initiative, a partnership with the Ron Clark Academy that focuses on supporting educators and enhancing student learning. Over the next three years, more than 7,500 educators will participate in events hosted by Huntington, and over 2,000 will receive scholarships to attend a two-day training session at the Ron Clark Academy. This training will include dynamic workshops and classroom observations to help educators improve their teaching skills.
