CLEVELAND - OhioPen -- The new RHT-Air is a wireless temperature and humidity sensor that can transmit data over long distances. It allows configuration and reading of the parameters through the Novus Air wireless network at distances up to 1 km, bringing practicality and efficiency to distributed applications. It has a long battery life, which allows it to operate as a stand-alone device – combined with the convenience of a wireless sensor to avoid the problems of electrical noise associated with long cable runs. By eliminating the need for cables and wires, it greatly simplifies installation.
In addition, it makes it easy to reallocate devices or to add new devices: simply attach the new sensor where necessary and configure it from a distance! The RHT-Air operates on its own 802.15.4 wireless network, without the need to use the company's IT infrastructure. When used with the companion AirGate-Modbus, it can be easily integrated into existing SCADA systems using standard Modbus commands.
