CLEVELAND - OhioPen -- CAS is pleased to announce the MSR147 family of wireless data loggers, designed to monitor and precisely record physiological parameters such as skin temperature and moisture. Available in two models, the MSR147WD equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the MSR147W2D with Wi-Fi, these loggers offer external humidity and temperature sensors. The MSR147 data loggers utilize pre-calibrated, plug-in sensors for temperature and humidity, which can be inserted and removed individually. An automatic configuration feature allows the data logger to instantly recognize when a sensor is inserted and retrieve the calibration data stored within the sensor.
The MSR147 comes in two versions:
MSR147WD Bluetooth Low Energy Model:
MSR147W2D Wi-Fi Model:
Both models feature a built-in, high-contrast OLED display for direct data viewing on the logger and a lithium polymer battery rechargeable via USB. Other key features include:
The MSR SmartCloud records data uploaded from the data loggers in a database. Through online access, you can view, manage, and create alert messages for your measured data. The MSR147 data loggers are supplied with an access code to connect to the MSR SmartCloud.

These loggers are ideal for applications such as testing the functionality of clothing materials, where temperature and humidity sensors can be placed at multiple locations on the body to determine physiological parameters like skin temperature and moisture levels. The compact size of the loggers allows for unobtrusive positioning, and the large storage capacity enables data collection over extended periods.

The MSR147 comes in two versions:
MSR147WD Bluetooth Low Energy Model:
- Bluetooth Low Energy short-range radio technology is ideal for monitoring measurement data from hard-to-reach places over extended periods, at distances up to 30 feet.
- Measured values can be retrieved at any time using the free MSR DataLogger app on an Android or Apple smartphone or tablet.
- The app also allows you to start/stop recording and upload data to the MSR SmartCloud.
- An optional LAN gateway can collect data from multiple loggers and send it to the cloud.
MSR147W2D Wi-Fi Model:
- The MSR147W2D can be easily integrated into existing WLAN/Wi-Fi networks or configured as an access point to create a separate wireless network, eliminating wiring costs and time-consuming manual readings
- Live data can be viewed with the MSR WLAN software or, with internet access, directly uploaded to the MSR SmartCloud.
Both models feature a built-in, high-contrast OLED display for direct data viewing on the logger and a lithium polymer battery rechargeable via USB. Other key features include:
- Support for up to 5 external temperature and humidity sensors.
- Optional internal air pressure and tri-axial accelerometer sensors.
- Storage for 1,000,000 measured values.
- Push button for bookmarking or start/stop logging.
- LED status indicator.
- Free setup and viewer software.
The MSR SmartCloud records data uploaded from the data loggers in a database. Through online access, you can view, manage, and create alert messages for your measured data. The MSR147 data loggers are supplied with an access code to connect to the MSR SmartCloud.
