Akron, Ohio, April 15, 2021 — The City of Akron's Lock 3, a downtown beacon of fun and entertainment, is thrilled to announce the beginning of its 2021 spring and summer season on the iconic Cleveland Clinic Akron General Stage.
Filled with evening concerts, festivals, and more than 40 community events, Lock 3's summer schedule was crafted to bring back safe community entertainment, following all directives currently in place to provide top-notch experiences for the entire family. Lock 3 has been in communication with Summit County Public Health regarding current health orders, recommendations, and directives, and all events will be in line with that guidance. Currently, attendance will be limited, masks will be mandatory when not eating or drinking or able to socially distance, individuals will be asked to not gather in groups larger than 10 and to stay at least 6 feet from other groups. Additionally, anyone planning on attending an event at Lock 3 is asked to perform a self-health assessment and stay home if you have a fever, cough or other COVID-19 symptoms.

Since opening in 2003, Lock 3 has hosted more than four million visitors and is set to open its season with the first Rock the Lock concert, presented by WONE on Friday, May 28, 2021, with the endorsed Aerosmith tribute band Draw the Line.
Additional events include:
Alternative Nights with the jenY 107.3 every Thursday in June through August with radio station jenY, 107.3 FM, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM with yard games, drink specials, music and more.
Rock the Lock every Friday in June through August featuring your favorite tribute bands. Gates open at 6:00 PM, and concerts begin at 7:00 PM. Bands include:
Saturday Night Music
Family Movie Night
Join us on Sunday evenings this summer and enjoy a special theme starting at 8:00 PM, followed by a movie. Bring a blanket, learn fire safety, healthy eating and more, and then enjoy a movie under the stars. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
