CLEVELAND, Sept. 26, 2025 ~ Cleveland, OH - The city of Cleveland has recently claimed a new title as the cat capital of the Midwest, surpassing even the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Guardians baseball team. Each fall, thousands of cat lovers flock to the iconic I-X Center for the CFA International Cat Show & Expo Presented by Catit, Hartz Delectables, Weruva, and Zoetis Solensia. This year's event will also feature special guests such as KooKoo, IAmMoShow The Cat Rapper, Drennon Davis, Nathan the Cat Lady, Sterling "TrapKing" Davis, Lambo Licia, and Pudge the Bowling Green Football Locker Room Cat.
The CFA International Cat Show & Expo is not just a cat show; it is a celebration of a community. Cleveland has proudly opened its arms (and laps) to cats from all over the world, making it clear that this town is built for cat lovers. From pedigreed champions to rescue heroes and viral stars to everyday purrs, this event brings together all aspects of the cat world.
But why Cleveland? According to event organizers, there is no other city where an entire community rallies around cats so completely. Every year, the crowds get bigger and louder while cattitude reigns supreme. Even other cities in Ohio are catching on to this trend; just look at Bowling Green University where Pudge the Locker Room Cat now calls the shots for their football team.

One of the highlights of this year's expo is the collaboration between over a dozen rescue organizations from across Cleveland. Instead of competing for attention, they have joined forces under one roof to showcase 100+ adoptable cats and kittens in hopes of finding them forever homes filled with love and treats.
Of course, no CFA International Cat Show would be complete without the stars of the pedigreed cat world. More than 40 breeds will be strutting their stuff, judged by experts from all corners of the globe. These stunning cats know that the I-X Center is the place to be.
But the fun doesn't stop in the show rings. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities such as Pudge the Locker Room Cat's first appearance in Cleveland, cat-aoke with Nathan the Cat Lady and Sterling "TrapKing" Davis, comedy from Drennon Davis, and viral sensation IAmMoshow The Cat Rapper dropping cat-centric bars. There will also be a live concert by KooKoo and appearances by renowned feline behaviorist Steve Dale and "Crazy Cat Vet" Dr. Petra Černá.

Lambo Licia, Cleveland's own feline influencer with over 2 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, will also be making an appearance. Her hilarious videos dancing in front of unimpressed cats have made her a fan favorite and further solidify Cleveland as not just a cat-loving city but a cat-loving capital.
With over 15,000 cat lovers expected to attend, tickets are available online at www.cfacatexpo.com. Options include VIP passes, weekend passes, or single-day admission with free entry for kids under 4. Buying tickets in advance is recommended to avoid long lines at the door. Attendees can plan to spend the whole day or weekend exploring the show, enjoying food from the I-X Center's food court, and experiencing everything that the CFA International Cat Show & Expo has to offer.
