Vice Chair of the OLBC Foundation and Voting Rights Advocate, Alicia Reece, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Marc Morial Took the Lead in Educating and Empowering Ohio Voters This Election Season

CINCINNATI - OhioPen -- Yesterday, the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation presented the Voting Is Essential Statewide Summit: The Power of the Black Vote. Moderated by Democratic Candidate for Hamilton County Commissioner, Alicia Reece, the virtual convening featured national voices, like Reverend Al Sharpton of the National Action Network and Marc Morial of the National Urban League, along with elected officials from the State of Ohio, like Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, and other state influencers, who discussed all of the concerns and issues surrounding voting this election season.

"This election is requiring a culture shift because so many are voting absentee for the first time. It is important that voters don't get confused so we must educate, motivate, and activate voters to the polls because voting is essential," says Ms. Reece.
